Scope

The ability to deliver high level of service quality tousers is an essential aspect of IPTV services, and thus captured in many IPTV-related requirements.As IPTV services can easily be degraded if the media decoders are exposed to impairments suchas packet losses, mechanisms are needed to reliably deliver good IPTV service qualityin the presence of such defects.
