Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, naming and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product markings, product certificates, product instructions, packaging, transportation and storage of building glass point support devices. This standard is applicable to point-supported glass curtain walls, daylighting roofs, awnings, guardrails and other architectural glass point support devices. Point support devices for other panels can be used as a reference.
