- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, system composition, requirements and test methods of digital medical X-ray photography systems. This standard applies to DR systems for general X-ray photography. Including but not limited to DR systems using line array scanning or area array scanning detectors, such as: DR systems using flat panel detectors (FPD); DR systems using area array CCD detectors; DR systems using line array scanning CCD detectors System; DR system using CMOS detector, etc. For DR systems that use more than one digital X-ray image detector, this standard applies to each digital X-ray image detector and the X-ray generating device used for imaging. This standard does not apply to systems using X-ray image intensifiers, computed X-ray photography systems, mammography X-ray equipment, dental X-ray equipment, computed tomography equipment and DR systems of dual-energy imaging equipment.
