- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, operating environmental conditions, quality requirements and testing, packaging, transportation, storage, acceptance and installation of press-fit insulating sleeves for capacitors. This standard applies to biaxially oriented polypropylene films for power capacitor dielectrics. This standard does not apply to press-fit insulating bushings for AC high-voltage power capacitors. Bushings for other types of capacitors can also refer to this standard.
