This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, types, parameters, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of electromagnetic starters for industrial machinery, and stipulates the main technical parameters and instructions that manufacturers should provide to users. This standard applies to electromagnetic starters for industrial machinery. The starter is mainly used to control the direct starting, stopping and forward and reverse operation of the three-phase squirrel cage induction motor, and can protect the motor from overload and phase failure.
