Scope

This part of JB/T 9769 specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods and evaluation of the metallographic structure of the intake and exhaust valve seats for reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter less than or equal to 200 mm. This section is applicable to the metallographic structure inspection of insert-type cast iron valve seat materials for reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with cylinder diameters less than or equal to 200 mm. Other materials of the same type can also be used for reference.
