- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural types, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of internal combustion engine valve lock clips. This standard applies to valve lock clamps (hereinafter referred to as valve lock clamps) for reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with cylinder diameters less than or equal to 200 mm made of formed strip materials.
