Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of internal combustion engine valve spring seats. This standard applies to valve spring seats (hereinafter referred to as valve spring seats) of reciprocating internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter less than or equal to 200 mm.
