- This standard specifies the instruments, sampling procedures, sampling records and safety precautions used when sampling stable light hydrocarbons. This standard is applicable to the sampling of stable light hydrocarbons in oil and gas fields. Warning: Personnel using this standard should have practical experience in formal laboratory work. This standard does not address all possible safety issues. Users are responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures and ensuring compliance with relevant national regulations.
