DIN EN 55012:2010 Vehicles, boats and internal combustion engines - Radio disturbance characteristics - Limits and methods of measurement for the protection of off-board receivers (IEC/CISPR 12:2007 + A1:2009); German version EN 55012:2007 + A1:2009
This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 55012:2007 + A1:2009 and is identical with the 6th edition of the international Standard IEC/CISPR 12 and its Amendment 1:2009. It specifies limits and measurement methods for broad- and narrowband electromagnetic energy in the frequency range 30 MHz to 1000 MHz in order to ensure the protection of receivers for all kind of radio transmissions if they are used inside of buildings. The considered emission sources are vehicles propelled by an internal combustion engine, electrical means or both, boats propelled by an internal combustion engine, electrical means or both and devices equipped with spark-ignited internal combustion engines. This standard does not apply to aircraft, traction systems or to incomplete vehicles. The changes in relation to the previous standard are concerned with the inclusion of devices with traction batteries, e. g. floor teatment machines not intended for private (domestic) purposes.
