Scope

This section specifies the functional requirements for the VDSL2 transceiver reference model, TC sublayer, PMD sublayer, OAM, initialization and online repeated configuration. This section applies to VDSL2 central office and user equipment of public telecommunications networks and other systems with or including VDSL2 line transceivers. Dedicated telecommunications networks can also be used for reference.
