Scope

This standard specifies the leaching procedures and quality assurance measures for solid waste leaching toxicity. This standard is applicable to the assessment of the leaching risk of inorganic pollutants (except cyanide, sulfide and other unstable pollutants) in solid waste and other solid materials when subject to surface water or groundwater leaching. This standard does not apply to samples containing non-water-soluble liquids.
