- This standard specifies the classification and structure, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of vehicle-mounted road surface laser rutting meters (hereinafter referred to as laser rutting meters). This standard applies to the production, inspection and use of laser rutting instruments that apply laser technology, digital imaging technology and computer technology to detect rutting conditions on highway pavements.
