- This standard specifies the requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificates for nickel oxide (NiO). This standard applies to nickel oxide for the production of magnetic materials, metallurgy, picture tube industry, enamel and ceramic coatings, and glass pigments; it can also be used as raw material for the manufacture of nickel salts and nickel catalysts.
