- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of pre-vulcanized treads. This standard applies to pre-vulcanized treads of natural rubber and synthetic rubber, but does not apply to pre-vulcanized treads with skeleton layers and pre-vulcanized treads composed of polyurethane compounds.
