- Scope
- This standard specifies the requirements for grade 8 ordinary precision chains for cranes and hoisting chains and for general super-heavy use. The chain is a round steel electric welded short link chain that has undergone sufficient heat treatment and testing, and complies with the general acceptance rules stipulated in GB/T 20946. This standard applies to chains with a nominal size of 5mm to 45mm, and the temporary additional nominal dimensions of 6mm-35mm chains are also given in the appendix.
