Scope: This standard specifies the immunity performance standards and test strengths of elevators, escalators and moving walks that are to be permanently installed in buildings. Including basic safety requirements related to its electromagnetic compatibility environment. These regulations represent the basic electromagnetic compatibility requirements. This standard covers normal EMC conditions in residential, office and industrial buildings, but does not cover more severe EMC environments, which require additional investigation, such as: radio base stations; railways and subways; heavy industrial plants; power stations . This standard is based on the environmental conditions (humidity, temperature, etc.) related to electromagnetic compatibility performance specified in relevant standards for elevators, escalators and moving walks. This standard does not apply to elevators, escalators and moving walks and related safety components manufactured before the implementation date of this standard.
