- This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of thermal coding ribbons. This standard applies to thermal coding ribbons (hereinafter referred to as ribbons) made of plastic film as the base material and coated with transferable ink for relief stamping of composite flexible packaging materials.
