- This guiding technical document stipulates the use conditions, ratings, design and structure, test, selection guidelines, transportation, storage, installation, operation and maintenance of 1100kV high-voltage AC circuit breakers. This guiding technical document is applicable to high-voltage AC circuit breakers designed to be installed outdoors and operating in UHV power systems with a frequency of 50Hz and a nominal voltage of 1000kV. This guiding technical document is also applicable to the operating mechanism of 1100kV circuit breaker and its auxiliary equipment. Except for single-pole automatic reclosing circuit breakers, circuit breakers with predetermined inter-pole asynchrony are not included in the scope of this guidance technical document. Bypass circuit breakers connected in parallel with line series capacitors and their protective devices are not included in the scope of this guidance technical document.
