- This part of GB/Z 24636 specifies the terms, symbols, calculation formulas and design methods related to statistical tolerances based on a given confidence level. This section applies to linear dimensions for which statistical process control is applied, especially fit dimensions with a higher tolerance class; it also applies to metrological quality characteristics with two-sided specification limits and subject to statistical process control.
