Scope

This part of GB/Z 24636 specifies the terms, definitions and basic concepts of statistical tolerances. This standard applies to linear dimensions to which statistical process control is applied, especially fit dimensions with higher tolerance classes, and also to metrological quality characteristics with two-sided specification limits to which statistical process control is applied.
