- This standard specifies the classification and nomenclature, materials, requirements, inspection rules, marking and packaging of disposable leukocyte-removing filters. This standard applies to disposable leukocyte-removing filters (hereinafter referred to as leukocyte-removing filters). The leukocyte-removing filter can be connected to a blood transfusion set and blood collection/blood component separation system to remove leukocytes from blood and blood components.
