This standard specifies the vibration test methods, evaluation methods and acceptance criteria for nuclear power plant piping systems. This standard is applicable to the testing and evaluation of steady-state vibration and predictable transient vibration of the pipeline system under various working conditions before operation, initial start-up test, and operation phase of the nuclear power plant. This standard is not applicable to the testing and evaluation of random and incidental pipeline transient vibrations under various working conditions before service, initial start-up test, and operation stage. Equipment in piping systems (such as pumps, valves, etc.) does not fall within the scope of this standard.
