- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of chemical oxygen self-rescuers used in coal mines. This standard applies to coal mine chemical oxygen self-rescuers (hereinafter referred to as self-rescuers) using alkali metal superoxide as oxygen generating agent.
