- 1.1 This standard specifies the electrochemical performance test method of magnesium alloy sacrificial anode samples working in saturated calcium sulfate and magnesium hydroxide medium. 1.2 This standard applies to the test of the electrochemical performance of magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes simulated in the environment of gypsum-bentonite-sodium sulfate filler for a long time with saturated calcium sulfate and magnesium hydroxide test electrolyte. 1.3 This standard attempts to determine the quality assurance for both the supplier and the purchaser of magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes. However, the long-term field performance may not be equivalent to the performance characteristics obtained by this laboratory test method. 1.4 This standard does not clarify all safety issues related to use. Users of this standard are responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures before use, and formulate corresponding rules and regulations.
