- This standard specifies methods for estimating the parameters of the Г distribution from observed values. This standard is applicable to the parameter estimation of the overall distribution of Г; for data obtained from measurement, testing, and investigation, if it can be reasonably considered to come from the overall distribution of Γ after theoretical analysis, empirical judgment or statistical testing, then it can be determined according to this standard. Point and interval estimates of distribution parameters.
