Specifies the minimum radiofrequency requirements for radiocommunication equipment intended to operate in the aeronautical radio services in the frequency range 118 MHz to 137 MHz using amplitude modulation and 25 kHz channel spacing. The Standard includes essential requirements and test methods for transmitters and receivers. It has been developed from AirServices Australia specification YSCE 3078 Issue 1 and Ministry of Commerce (NZ) specification RFS 1.
