Scope

This standard specifies the sample sampling methods and laboratory testing methods for the detection of genetically modified components of tobacco seeds, fresh tobacco leaves, first-cured tobacco, sheet tobacco and shredded cigarette tobacco. This standard applies to the detection of genetically modified ingredients in tobacco and tobacco products.
