Scope: This standard specifies the structure and display method of the Chinese standard phonogram code, aiming to provide a unique identification for each phonogram and music video product or each independently usable repertoire section. This standard applies to sound recordings and music video recordings recorded by producers of sound recordings and music video recordings registered with the China Standard Recording Product Coding Management Agency. The codes of Chinese standard sound recordings stipulated in this standard have nothing to do with the carriers of sound recordings and music video products. The Chinese standard sound recording product code specified in this standard is not applicable to other video products except music video products.
