- This standard specifies the preliminary preparations for the preparation of information security emergency response plans, and establishes the basic elements, content requirements and format specifications of information security emergency response plan documents. This standard applies to information security emergency response plans at all levels including the entire organization, departments within the organization, and information systems (including network systems) of the organization. This standard provides guidance for those responsible for developing and maintaining an information security emergency response plan.
