Scope

This method is suitable for measuring the corrosion degree of engine lubricating oil. It is a metal corrosion phenomenon caused when the hot lubricating oil film adhering to the surface of the metal sheet is in regular contact with oxygen in the surrounding air. After the metal sheet is tested for 50 hours in the sample heated to 140°C, the corrosion degree of the sample is determined according to the weight change of the metal sheet, expressed in g/m2. Unless otherwise specified, the sheet metal material is lead.
