This Standard specifies a method to provide a relative measure for evaluating the degree of size degradation of iron ores when reduced in a fized bed at the temperature of 550 ℃ and then tumbled in a tumble drum at room temperaturem under conditions resembling those prevailing i the low-temperature reduction zone of a blast furnace.
