Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for design, manufacturing, testing, acceptance, marking and packaging of connecting fittings for overhead lines. This standard applies to connecting fittings for overhead line conductors and ground wires with a rated voltage of 10kV and above. For connecting fittings used in lines below 10kV, please refer to this standard. For hardware used in severely corroded, polluted environments, high altitude areas, cold areas, etc., they should also meet the requirements of other relevant standards.
