Scope: This procedure applies to the initial calibration, subsequent calibration and in-use inspection of dual-energy X-ray bone densitometers and gamma-ray single-photon bone densitometers. This procedure does not apply to single-energy X-ray bone densitometers and peripheral dual-energy X-ray bone densitometers.
