- Scope
- This standard applies to power axles of railway rolling stock operating under normal conditions. If there are doubts about whether the relevant railway working conditions are normal when applying this standard, it is necessary to determine whether additional design factors need to be added to the allowable stress. For light rail vehicles and trams, other standards or documents may be adopted after consultation between users and suppliers. For the calculation of wheel-set vehicles with special applications (such as tamping machines/cleaning machines/ballast distribution machines and other engineering machinery), this standard can be used for the load conditions of no-load operation and train marshalling operation. This standard does not apply In the case of other workloads, they should be calculated separately.
