Scope

The World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (Johannesburg, 2008), considering that postal and telecommunication administrations and the relevant operating agencies authorized by Member States and service providers need to keep themselves informed of technical progress liable to improve or harmonize existing services, and that it is useful for them to examine jointly the implications of any new Recommendations or modifications to current Recommendations made in this connection.
