- This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of oil drilling gauges. This standard applies to the manufacture, inspection and quality evaluation of oil drilling weight gauges (hereinafter referred to as weight gauges) that use C-type spring tubes as pressure-sensitive components and use pointers to indicate their values on the dial.
