Scope: This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of the monitoring system for radioactive substances and special nuclear materials. This standard applies to systems that use radiation detectors to monitor radioactive substances and special nuclear materials. This standard does not apply to handheld devices.
