Scope: This standard specifies the classification and code, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and quality certificate of iron oxide for ferrite (hereinafter referred to as iron oxide). This standard applies to iron oxide (Fe₂O₃) produced by spray roasting ferrous chloride. It is also suitable for iron oxide produced by ferrous sulfate method, carbonate thermal decomposition and other methods. The material is mainly used in the production of ferrite components, but also for other industrial purposes.
