Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the size, shape, weight and allowable deviation of hot-rolled round wire rods. If the product standard specifies otherwise, it shall comply with the requirements of the corresponding product standard. This standard is applicable to round wire rods of various steels with a nominal diameter of 5mm-60mm.
