- This standard specifies the terms and definitions of steel slag stability test methods, instruments and equipment, determination of immersion expansion rate, pressure steam powderization rate determination and test reports, etc. The water swell rate determination method in this standard is applicable to the steel slag used for roadbed and base material, the steel slag used for asphalt pavement aggregate, and the steel slag used for engineering backfill.
