Scope: This standard specifies the symbol definition, principle, sample, equipment, performance measurement and test report of the test method for tensile properties of metal superplastic materials. This standard applies to fine-grained superplastic metallic materials without significant work hardening or dynamic microstructural changes. In this method, a constant beam displacement rate control method is used to carry out tensile tests on plate samples and cylindrical samples to determine their tensile superplastic properties. This method does not install an extensometer.
