- This standard specifies the good practices that laboratories should follow when conducting in vitro toxicological safety evaluation tests for cosmetics. This standard applies to toxicology animal alternative testing laboratories engaged in safety evaluation of cosmetic raw materials and products. This standard also applies to toxicological animal alternative research and testing laboratories engaged in safety evaluation of food and its additives, contact materials, chemical raw materials and their products.
