This standard specifies the etiological basis of radiation tumors and the technical requirements for the calculation of etiological probability. This standard is applicable to the etiological judgment of tumors occurring after occupational exposure. Malignant tumors that occur after accidental exposure due to non-occupational reasons can also be judged with reference to this standard. This standard does not apply to the determination of the etiology of malignant tumors that occur after voluntary medical irradiation.
