- Scope
- This standard describes defects that generally occur in the inspection of knitted fabrics. Defects may reduce the performance of the fabric, and if the defects appear in an obvious part of the product made of the fabric, they may be discovered by the user and refused to purchase. Unless otherwise specified, the defects described in this standard are applicable to both warp knitting and weft knitting.
