Scope: This standard specifies the immunity requirements and test methods for electrical and electronic equipment and systems of industrial machinery when they are subjected to electrostatic discharge directly from the operator and to adjacent objects, and also specifies the range of test levels and tests under different environments and installation conditions program. This standard applies to the electrostatic discharge immunity test of industrial mechanical electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
