Scope
This part of GB/T 2910 specifies the determination of chlorine-containing fiber, modified polyacrylonitrile fiber, elastic fiber, acetate fiber and triacetate fiber in a mixture composed of the following fibers after removal of non-fibrous substances by the cyclohexanone method Method of content: Acetate, triacetate, chlorinated fibers, certain modacrylic fibers, certain elastane fibers; and wool, animal hair, silk, cotton, cupro, modal, viscose fiber, polyamide fiber, polyacrylonitrile fiber and glass fiber. When modacrylic fibers or elastane fibers are included, a preliminary test is required to determine whether the fibers are completely soluble in the reagent. Mixtures containing chlorine-containing fibers can also be analyzed using the methods specified in GB/T 2910.13 or GB/T 2910.17.
