Scope

This part of GB/T 5132 specifies the definition, nomenclature, general requirements and supply conditions of thermosetting resin industrial rigid circular laminated tubes and rods for electrical purposes. Laminated tubes and rods are made with any of the following resins as adhesives: phenolic, epoxy (epoxy), melamine, and silicone. The following reinforcing materials can be used in single or composite form: cellulose paper, cotton cloth, glass cloth, mica paper. This part of GB/T 5132 applies to industrial rigid circular laminated tubes and rods of thermosetting resins for electrical purposes.
