The purpose of this Standard is to establish the requirements that must be met and the tests to which industrial safety helmets must be subjected. For the purposes of this Standard, industrial safety helmets are contemplated, comprising two types (1 and 2) according to the design and four classes (A, B, C and D) according to the risk.
