Scope
GB/T 18375 describes the static and dynamic test procedures for lower limb prostheses. In this process, except for one special case, a test force is used to generate a compound test load. The compound load on the test specimen depends on the peak values of the individual components of the load, which usually occur at different instants during the stance phase during walking. The test method described in GB/T 18375 is applicable to lower leg (BK) prostheses, knee amputated prostheses and thigh (AK) prostheses. This part of GB/T 18375 specifies structural tests and test requirements other than those specified in GB/T 18375.3 and GB/T 18375.4. The test and the components that need to be tested are as follows: Torsion test of all components Ankle-foot device test of all ankle-foot devices as individual components, including ankle and ankle joints Knee restraint test of all knee components and restraints in a complete prosthesis Knee lock test for relevant parts All mechanisms for locking the knee assembly in the extended position
